Our wonderfully renovated cottage is a comfortable and quiet place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounds of Corvallis and Benton county. We are centrally located between the coast, mountains and Portland. Go for a relaxed ride down to OSU on the nearby bike paths or explore the hiking trails just down the road. Aaron is an avid mt biker, so if you bring your bike, he'll be happy to show you the local trails in OSU's McDonald forest which are right out the back door.
ALDER CREEK GUEST COTTAGE
You will find a luxurious bed, gas fireplace, kitchenette and deck overlooking our "farm". If it's raining, you can hang out inside with a cup of hot tea, the big screen TV, DVDs, a library of books, and of course, high speed wireless internet. The kitchenette is stocked with all the breakfast fixings you might need (cereal, fresh eggs, pancake mix, juice, milk, bagels, etc). You will have use of a small refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, hot plate, sink, utensils and flatware (there is no oven). We supply fresh bedding, towels, robes, shampoo, bodywash, clothes iron, and hair dryer. Also, there is plenty of private off-street parking and free Level 2 Telsa and J1772 (Leaf) EV chargers. Sorry, but there are no onsite laundry facilities.
We are centrally located between the Oregon coast, Cascade mountains, Portland and Eugene. It's an easy bicycle ride down to OSU on the nearby bike paths. Or you can hit the mt biking and hiking trails just out the back door. We are on a dead-end country road, so traffic is minimal. Look for the Alder Creek sign on the left at the driveway after the large white "7920" house number

The calendar shows what nights are available. If the day that you want to arrive or leave is already blocked out, drop us a line to see if we can make special arrangements for your check-in or check-out times.
Our rate is $110 for the first night, $100 for the second, $90 for the third and so on until the one-week rate of $560 is reached. If staying one night, the cleaning is $40. If staying more than one night, the cleaning fee is waived.

THE FINE PRINT
Check-in/Check-out
Standard check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out is 11 AM. However, typically we are very flexible on these times, so if you want to stay longer or check-in earlier, just let us know and we’ll be happy to accommodate.
Non-Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in the cottage unless you are on fire at which point appropriate extinguishing will be performed. Exorbitant cleaning fees will be assessed.
Payment
The balance can be paid by cash or check or evil credit-card.
Breakfast
If you have any special dietary needs or allergies, please let us know so we can make proper adjustments.
Phone
There is no phone in the cottage. Cell phone reception can be spotty for most cell providers except Verizon. For best reception stand outside on the deck and hold your phone high. If you have an emergency and need a phone, come knock on our house door.
Sleeping arrangements
There is queen size bed in the downstairs bedroom and a fold-down futon upstairs.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in the cottage. With prior arrangement we can provide outside facilities for housing dogs in a fenced area. We have free-range children and chickens, so dogs would have to be kept under strict control at all times.
Extra Guests
Rates apply to 2 adult guests. Additional overnight adult guests are $10/night/person. Maximum of 3 adults per night. There are no additional costs or limit for kids but 3 is probably a reasonable maximum to squeeze in.
